For nearly twenty years, Costas has been running guided horse-riding treks from Roda throughout the whole of the holiday season. With forty calm and well-trained horses there is something for all ages and all levels of ability.
The perfect holiday activity for the whole family, Costas offers safe, supervised rides with full insurance, hard hats and complimentary drinks en route. For those staying in the north of Corfu, Costas provides free transfer for anyone staying in Acharavi, Roda and Sidari and even Arillas or Kassiopi at a small extra charge.
You can find Costas’ Horses in a shady olive grove by the sea, right on the edge of Roda just two minutes walk from the Afroditi Hotel and local bus stop. The two hour rides begin four times every day and set off across the wild headland and along Roda’s lanes & tracks towards the beach at Agnos. The trail affords riders some magnificent views of the Albanian mainland, Astrakeri harbour and the island of Erikoussa before turning back inland through open meadows to stop for a cool and refreshing drink. Retracing the same route brings riders back to the olive grove where photographs are available to record a wonderful time spent with Costas’ Horses.
Depending on dayligh t hours, Costas’ daily treks set off at 09:00, 11:00, 17:00 & 19:00 and it is recommended that all riders wear long trousers and either flat shoes or trainer .
The charge for each rider is €15, or €13 per person for groups of five or more. Children under the age of four ride free.
